All websites I make are built using the ModX CMS (content management system). This allows you to add/edit your own content once the site is built, and it allows me to focus on building great web experiences instead of reinventing the wheel and rewriting tedious code with every site. More importantly, it allows for a clear and easy path for updating your site design in the future without losing your existing content. Instead of Flash, I believe that jQuery and HTML5 is the best, fastest, most compatible way to build exciting visuals and user interface features.
Large, small, or somewhere in-between, everyone has a budget. Believe me, I understand that the last thing you want is to be quoted one price only to find "scope-creep" has doubled what you expected to find on your final bill. That's why I am more than happy to sit down with you, discuss your needs, and come up with a either a flat rate or a price cap that will ensure that your budget won't get blown, and being a "details guy" I am good at thinking of all those little things that might pop-up down the road... because I don't like scope-creep either.
Don't underestimate the importance of good design; it is often your organization's first and only impression to the public! When it comes to the web, function is as integral a part of good design as the choice of colors; if your site doesn't work well for your users, then it may be time to go back to the drawing board. I'll work with you to make sure you get a design that has the right feel (and function)—whether it be print campaign (ads, posters, banners, t-shirts, etc.) or a specialty website for left-handed hamsters.
